A múlt héten már tanulmányoztátok a tankönyvünk 50. oldalán lévő “Wrecks and Reefs” című olvasmányát. (Please, do, read the 3rd exercise in the book at page 50, Read. A. Listen and read. / Kérlek olvasd el a 3-as számú olvasmányt a könyv 50. oldalán.)

Azt kértem Tőletek az előző héten, hogy miután elolvastátok a fenti szöveget, legyetek szívesek, húzzatok alá 10 ismeretlen szót a szövegben és küldjétek el nekem a hét végéig. Ezt két tanuló már meg is tette, a többiektől még várom a szavakat!!! (Házi feladat: Please underline the unknown, unfamiliar words in the text. / Húzd alá kérlek az ismeretlen szavakat a szövegben és 10 szót küldj el nekem e-mailben (anitakohalmiangol@gmail.com) 2020.04.17 14.00-ig.)

Az alábbi szavakat már gyakoroltuk: 

rock: hard material

reef: a long line of rocks or sand near the surface of the sea; pls check the picture of the Great Barrier Reef (it's wonderful) and send me a picture about this very famous reef by email, this will be the homework 😉

1. gyakorló feladat: 

Ezen a héten is gyakorolunk pár új szót, itt is működik a link, ami az Oxford Learners Dict. oldalára vezet, így tudjátok a kiejtést is gyakorolni, illetve egy-egy dőlt betűs, kék példamondatot is találtok, ha ezek alapján nem jöttök rá a szavak magyar megfelelőjére, akkor vegyétek elő nyugodtan a Companion füzetkét!:

habitat: the place where a particular type of animal or plant is normally found

The panda's natural habitat is the bamboo forest.

creature: a living thing, real or imaginary, that can move around, such as an animal

octopuses and other sea creatures

sank: past tense (múlt idő) of sink: verb;  to go down below the surface or towards the bottom of a liquid or soft substance

The ship sank to the bottom of the sea.

predator: an animal that kills and eats other animals

Some animals have no natural predators.

research: ​a careful study of a subject, especially in order to discover new facts or information about it

I've done some research to find out the cheapest way of travelling there.

2. gyakorló feladat: 

Kérlek próbáljátok lefordítani az alábbi, olvasmányban található mondatokat magyarra. 

1. But how is a natural reef formed?
2. In this way, a natural habitat for the sea creatures and fish is created. 
3. … and lots of fish and other sea creatures were attracted to them. 
4. The first artificial reefs were made by the Japanese back in the 1800s. 
5. They were made of bamboo. 

Ha még többet szeretnétek gyakorolni, akkor a Tankönyv 51. oldalán a szókinccsel és a nyelvtani kérdéssel kapcsolatban is vannak további gyakorló feladatok. Ezekkel folytatjuk a következő héten.
